assistance at around 12:37 am that happened at E. 24th Street near the
intersection at 1st Avenue. According to the officers, when they arrived at the
scene, they encountered the male suspect, who refused to comply with commands.
He was shot by the police, but it’s unclear how many officers fired their
weapons and how many rounds were fired. The suspect was 29 years old and was
taken to the hospital but later pronounced dead. The identity of the suspect
